To create a thriving community focused on providing everyone with a vibrant downtown to live, grow, work, and play.
To foster a more vibrant community by increasing social interactions and economic activity while showcasing our unique heritage and attractions.
Sainte Genevieve Downtown Renewal Project was founded in 2008 and maintains it’s status as a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization. We are an affiliate member of Missouri Main Street Connection and a member of the National Main Street Community. As members of Missouri Main Street Connection and the National Main Street community we are committed to the 4 point approach to town revitalization. This is reflected in all activities Sainte Genevieve Downtown Renewal Project engages in. As part of the 4 point approach to town revitalization, Sainte Genevieve Downtown Renewal Project proudly sponsors the 4th Friday Art Walks, Chocolate Walk, Cookie Crumb Trail, and the French Heritage Festival along with several other events and festivals in Downtown Sainte Genevieve.

MEET OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Sainte Genevieve Downtown Renewal Project Board of Directors is a working, governing, board made up of a diverse group of business and community members. We are committed to making a difference in downtown Sainte Genevieve. The board members volunteer their time and resources to help achieve the vision and mission outlined by the Sainte Genevieve Downtown Renewal Project. These members actively promote and advocate for the downtown community. They also maintain a strong partnership with the local government leadership and staff.
All in all, they’re an enterprising group of mover-shakers and difference-makers who really know their stuff.
